Natural materials

The exhibition- Natural materials by Richard Loskot and Michael Šimonfy

Both authors in their work thematised nature, nature phenomena. They want to show us a beauty of nature and analyzed the basic features in conjunction with space, light, time and sound. When we visited the exhibition, we were very fascinated.

We saw something like a circle full of green bacterias. They were moving around the circle and green colour symbolized life .

Then we saw an interesting gadget. It symbolized cycle of day and night and also a fruitmap. With this fruitmap you can add  fruit trees in every place around the world.

The most interesting for me was a device based on our heart beats.

A Conversation Leading Elsewhere

The exhibition -  Conversation Leading Elswhere presents new work- ink drawings by the artist - Maria Čorejová as well as a selection of works from the successful projects minds Games and Eo Instanto/ in this moment.

When we visited the exhibition we had a tour of the works and we discussed some of the main ideas in the exhibition such as
- how quickly life passes
- about  the pitfalls of life
- about beautiful and also bad moments in life

Then we chose a copy of one of Maria Čorejova´s works and developed it ourselves.

In my group we wanted to show all important features. We chose a photo of boat and we called it Friendship. Around the boat were planets , which depicted that boat carried all good features around the world into space.

In my opinion the exhibition was interesting because we can feel different emotions , different views of life. :)

Youth Without youth

Youth Without Youth (2007), it´s a fantasy drama film written and directed by Francis Ford Coppola, based on the novella of the same name by Romanian author Mircea Eliade.

It was the first film that Coppola had directed in ten years since 1997´s The Rainmaker.Coppola said that he made the film as a meditation on time and on consciousness, which he considers a "changing tapestry of illusion," but he admitted that the film may also be appreciated as a beautiful love story, or as a mystery.

The film starring Tim Roth , introducing Dominic Matei - a 70- year old proffesor of linguistics, the love of his youth - Laura (Alexandra Maria Lara), Proffesor Stanciulescu ( Bruno Ganz).

The music was composed by Grammy Award- winning Argentinan classical composer Osvaldo Golijov.

In my opinion it ´s a very good film and also very good acting.Tim Roth , who plays Dominic Matei is excellent. When everything is stripped away, the film is about a man given a second chance at love only to find that sometimes there are choices that are as disastrous as dying aloneI can´t claim to have really understood Youth Without Youth or what Coppola was really intending to say.

In spite of the fact that it was really good film and i enjoyed it. Go and see it if you can. :)
